FAQs

  • We are in network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

  • After years of working in an outpatient clinic setting as well as hospital system dictated by insurance we have learned that paying cash for service actually benefits our patients.

    • With cash services you can expect transparent pricing and no surprises. We provide superbills for reimbursement if desired and accept HSA as a form of payment.

    • One-on-one care with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full treatment duration, with the ability to provide longer treatment sessions.

    • We are able to treat you based on your actual needs, not dictated by insurance. This includes wellness and prevention services which can save you money in the long run by getting ahead of an injury before it begins.

    • You will see improvement in symptoms sooner and be seen for less sessions compared to an insurance based practice due to the duration of our treatment sessions and intentional care we provide.

  • No, you do not need a referral from your PCP or Doctor. Arkansas is a direct access state for physical therapy, meaning you can go directly to a Physical Therapist for your concern.

8 Reasons to Choose Us For Your Pelvic Health Care

  1. You Deserve to be Listened to

One of the most important aspects of our job is listening to you. Unfortunately in our medical system it’s common to spend 10 minutes or less with a Doctor. However, here at Pelvic Roots, you will spend 60+ minutes with your therapist and have the time to share your story, concerns, goals and be heard at each appointment.

  2. Care Under a Doctor of Physical Therapy

We believe Pelvic Floor Therapy should consist of hour-long, individualized treatments with 1:1 care. That is what you will find at Pelvic Roots. No shuffling off to a therapy aide at our clinic or working with multiple providers. You will see the same therapist each time who will help guide you to reach your goals.

  3. Discover the “Why” for Your Symptoms and Find Lasting Relief

Our Physical Therapist take a whole-body approach to healing and help you find the root cause of your symptoms and lasting relief. We strive for complete symptom resolution and provide you with the tools to maintain your health at home.

  4. You Deserve a Healing Space

Our treatment sessions are in a calm, private environment with trauma-informed therapists. We understand the intimate nature of pelvic floor therapy at times and make it a priority that our clients feel safe during a treatment session. When your body feels safe, then the body can heal.

  5. Experience the Healing Power of Touch

Our therapists are trained in advanced manual therapy skills to help aide in muscle and fascial restrictions that may be influencing your pelvic floor symptoms. From Cupping therapy, fascial and visceral mobilization, soft tissue massage and Dry Needling. We understand the important of laying hands on a client (with permission) to help release tension in the body and calm the nervous system.

  6. Movement Based Approach

At Pelvic Roots, we understand the intricate relationship of how the brain and body respond to movement. Our therapists practice an integrative movement approach to utilize your breath and body in order to find lasting symptom relief.

  7. More Than Just Kegels

At Pelvic Roots you will find a holistic approach to pelvic floor dysfunction, low back and hip pain. Our therapists understand the importance of taking an “outside of the pelvis” approach to eliminating pelvic floor dysfunction. Through hands on manual techniques, movement principles and using a variety of other treatment techniques you will see optimal results that kegels alone won’t give you.

  8. Facility Designed for All Walks of Life

From private treatment rooms, to a fully equipped rehabilitation room and a quiet, upstairs movement room all filled with natural lighting. Whether your goals are to return to CrossFit after childbirth, lift your grandchildren without urinary leakage, or simply walk without pain; our facility is equipped to help you return to the activities you love symptom free.
